Sean is an experienced litigator who counsels and defends clients in complex business disputes including business torts, contract disputes, labor and employment disputes, and directors’ and officers’ liability matters. His clients span various industries and he has represented them before state, federal and appellate courts, as well as a number of state and federal regulatory and administrative agencies. Prior to his practice in the private sector, Sean served as Assistant Counsel and lead litigation attorney for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, where he oversaw loans, grants, Act 47 requests, Right-to-Know Law matters, and internal tax credit administrative appeals.

In the area of commercial litigation, Sean assists businesses and company stakeholders in a range of commercial and business disputes, including in contracts, real estate and tort law. His experience extends to counseling licensed professionals in Pennsylvania on professional licensure issues and defending them in revocation and suspension hearings. Additionally, he has counseled legal professionals on ethics issues and defended them in all phases of disciplinary enforcement actions brought by The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Sean has also helped owners, contractors, subcontractors, and material producers in construction matters and in litigation at all stages of the construction process, including claims analysis, contract drafting and review and claims avoidance. He also has experience in Pennsylvania real estate tax assessment appeals. These hearings and trials focus entirely on issues of appraised market value.

He served as a Clerk to the Honorable Sylivia H. Rambo, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and to the Honorable J. Wesley Oler Jr., Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas.
