ABC NJ Construction Legal Summit

Maeve E. Cannon, Shareholder and Chair of the Administrative Law and Government Contracts Group, and Veronica Morrison, Shareholder, and Brad M. Kushner, Shareholder, will be speaking at the 2025 Construction Legal Summit hosted by ABC New Jersey Chapter at the Crowne Plaza Princeton on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025.

The Construction Legal Summit is a half-day conference featuring top attorneys sharing insights on navigating challenges and changes to policy and law in the construction industry. 

Maeve will discuss a range of topics, including the differences between state and local contracting, common pitfalls to avoid and what, if anything, can be done in the event of an error

Veronica will present on how construction projects are inherently wrought with risks. Construction contracts are and should be designed to manage and allocate these risks according to industry norms and rules of fair play. 

Brad will discuss OSHA’s recent construction initiatives and emphasis programs, new and proposed OSHA standards that impact the industry and recent notable decisions that provide guidance and insight for employers.
