Defending Democracy: A Discussion of the Electoral Count Reform Act

  • February 6, 2024
  • 6:00 pm - EST

Hon. Thomas I. Vanaskie (Ret.), Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Appellate Practice Group and chair of the Mediation, Neutral Services and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group, will be speaking on the Electoral Count Act in a discussion hosted by The Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and Keep Our Republic. This event will be held at The Inn at Villanova on February 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

The program will assess the improvements, gaps and prospects of the 2022 law, and explore how the Electoral Count Reform Act would govern specific scenarios of dueling slates of electors, a state that fails to certify its presidential votes and a 12th Amendment contested election process.
