Intellectual Property Basics

John Maldjian and Mark H. Anania, Co-Chairs of Stevens & Lee’s Intellectual Property practice, will present at The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, 222 Mulberry St., Scranton, PA, on Oct. 26, 2022.
The presentation, “Intellectual Property Basics,” will explore the basics of patents, trademarks and copyrights and what you need to consider in protecting them. Intellectual property refers to the creations of the mind and includes inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, symbols, names and images in commerce. Because IP can potentially have more value than more traditional objects, it is important to protect it.
