U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Committee Annual Regulatory Information Conference

The Hon. Thomas I. Vanaskie, Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee Appellate Litigation Group, will speak on the panel “Today’s Considerations for Tomorrow’s Regulations,” at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC) Annual Regulatory Information Conference at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, MD, on Mar. 11 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

A former Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Judge Vanaskie will bring a judicial perspective to how recent Supreme Court decisions are reshaping administrative law and regulatory oversight. Discussion will focus on the Court’s ruling limiting judicial deference to administrative agency interpretations and its practical implications for regulators, regulated entities and litigators.
