Jonathan E. Mayer, a member of Stevens & Lee’s Real Estate Group, has been named as a “Forty Under 40” honoree by NJBIZ in its 2025 listing.
This distinction spotlights 40 professionals under the age of 40 who have displayed notable success and leadership in their industries and communities. Mr. Mayer is recognized as a skilled real estate transactional attorney who has helped to broker some of the most complex commercial purchases, sales and leases in New Jersey that are handled by Stevens & Lee. In the past year, he was also named a “Rising Star” by the New Jersey Bankers Association for his leadership as a transactional problem-solver and his contributions to professional peers, clients and his home communities.
Mr. Mayer’s practice focuses on commercial transactions, leasing and land use. He represents clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to world-renowned universities and small business owners. He also serves as a strategic advisor and resource to banking clients and lenders in a wide range of real estate financings and transactions.
Mr. Mayer also has extensive experience in landlord-tenant litigation. He recently assisted in the eviction of a pharmaceutical company which was attempting to exercise an option to purchase the facility. In a separate matter, he assisted in the removal of more than two dozen trucking companies from a parcel of land in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.
He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Temple University School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Villanova University.
