Blake C. Marles Moderates Panel Discussion at Bisnow’s Philadelphia Industrial & Logistical Summit

READING, PA, November 25, 2019 – Stevens & Lee’s Blake C. Marles served as a panel moderator at Bisnow’s Philadelphia Industrial & Logistical Summit held on November 20, 2019. Mr. Marles led a panel of industry experts through a discussion on the increasing demand for industrial development space, increasing rent costs, repurposing of older industrial areas, meeting the logistical challenges associated with delivering consumer goods at a faster pace and generating innovative ideas to address each area.

In his real estate practice, Mr. Marles, a Stevens & Lee Partner, serves as lead counsel for projects as diverse as health care campuses, regional business headquarters, multi-municipality planned residential developments, condominiums, ground leases, industrial reuses, and commercial and industrial land developments. He has sought and received approvals for millions of square feet of industrial space. He represents brokers, purchasers and sellers, developers, syndicators and lenders in zoning, regulatory, leasing, historic rehabilitation, land development and subdivision matters.

Mr. Marles has authored land use material for the American Bar Association Journal, The Urban Lawyer and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. His treatise on road law is used by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute for training purposes at its Municipal Law Colloquium and Real Estate Institute.

Mr. Marles holds a J.D. from Temple University School of Law and a B.A. from Muhlenberg College.
