READING, PA, February 5, 2020 – Stevens & Lee Shareholder Jay R. Wagner presented at an Open House hosted by the St. Joseph’s University Initiative for Family Business and Entrepreneurship in Philadelphia, PA, on January 29, 2020.
Mr. Wagner presented “Wealth Transfer and Shareholder Agreements: Terms, Tricks and Traps.” The discussion focused on the importance of proper planning, as well as operational and other concerns, tax implications, benefits of lifetime transfers and more things to consider when planning for the future.
Mr. Wagner is Co-Chair of Stevens & Lee’s Wealth Planning, Trusts and Estates Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in estate and trust planning and administration, wealth preservation, trust and estate litigation, charitable and nonprofit organizations, and guardianship matters. Mr. Wagner has a J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law and a B.B.A, magna cum laude, from Temple University.
