Joel B. Wiener and Stephen W. Wiener Join Stevens & Lee

ALLENTOWN, PA, November 15, 2023 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Joel B. Wiener and Stephen W. Wiener have joined the firm and will be based in its Allentown office. They will continue to serve their Florida clients from the firm’s Florida office.

Joel B. Wiener joins the firm’s Real Estate Group and has more than 40 years of experience assisting clients with business planning and real estate acquisition, sale, operation, development, leasing and financing transactions, as well as commercial litigation and guiding clients with trust, estate and business planning. He brings pragmatic, business-focused counsel to his representations, which span real estate developers, construction industry clients, manufacturers and a range of commercial and business entities with residential and commercial development interests. He has particular experience representing clients in complex real estate matters, acquisitions and other corporate matters and before all municipal boards for zoning, planning and land use, as well as handling appeals before courts.

He earned his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law and his B.S., cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Stephen W. Wiener joins the firm’s Wealth Planning, Trusts and Estates Group and has more than 40 years of experience guiding estate planning and administration matters and assisting with business, corporate and LLC matters and tax law in Pennsylvania and Florida. In the area of estate planning, he helps high net worth clients structure sophisticated estate plans tailored to their unique goals, and assists individuals and families with wills and critical documents that ensure needed protections.  Stephen also represents multi-generational businesses with succession planning and a range of federal and state taxation issues. He assists with transition plans, transactions and relevant financing options that align with the business goals of retiring, current and future business leaders. In real estate matters, Stephen represents buyers and sellers in transactions often involving net lease properties and 1031 like kind exchanges.

He earned his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law and his B.S. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
