Cathy focuses her practice on the representation of institutional, individual and health system providers and suppliers in a broad range of regulatory and administrative matters including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule compliance, HIPAA breach and security incident response and follow up, clinical research contracting and compliance for sponsored, grant-funded and investigator-initiated research, mental health and substance abuse disorder confidentiality and privacy, electronic health records, information blocking rule compliance, health care contracting, and other compliance, licensure, and regulatory matters impacting health care providers.

Before attending law school, Cathy practiced as a registered pharmacist for several years in long-term care, community and hospital pharmacy settings and has utilized this background in representing clients on a variety of pharmacy operational and compliance issues, including licensure and regulatory compliance, compounding, DEA, Robinson-Patman Act, 340B Program, PBM and vendor contracting, and payment matters.
