Shirley is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment Groups. She is a skilled civil litigator with broad experience representing Fortune 500 companies and other clients across the automotive, food and beverage, health care and financial industries. Shirley has extensive state and federal court experience in both commercial litigation and labor and employment matters, handling a wide range of complex disputes.

Her commercial practice includes class action litigation in the food and beverage industry and matters involving automotive dealers and manufacturers. On the employment side, she provides strategic counseling and litigation defense for C-suite executives, health care institutions and corporate clients in proceedings before the EEOC and the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights. She regularly advises on workplace policies, internal investigations and high-stakes employment disputes.

While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Michael A. Shipp, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey. She also participated as a Clinical Law Student in the Community and Transactional Lawyering Clinic, where she provided legal assistance in guardianship matters and led the Trusts and Estates Practice Group. Shirley served as Vice President of the Association of Black Law Students (ABLS) and as a Representative of the Association of Latin American Law Students (ALALS).

A polyglot, she is fluent in Spanish and Italian, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients.
