Law Students

We are now ACCEPTING submissions for 2L Summer Associate positions for the 2026 Summer Associate Program. Deadline for submission of all materials is June 16, 2025.

Please note: we do not place Summer Associates in our New York City office.

The Stevens & Lee Summer Associate Program provides a challenging and realistic professional experience designed to acclimate students to the discipline and rigors of a sophisticated private practice and Stevens & Lee’s unique firm culture. Our goal is to link your formal law school education with the necessary training, mentoring and client service experience you will need to launch a dynamic, fulfilling career in the law. We provide our Summer Associates with meaningful educational opportunities and real-world work assignments, along with individualized attention and training in a collaborative environment. Our ultimate goal is providing those 2L students who excel in our program an offer of employment.

A Summer Associate at Stevens & Lee receives challenging, multi-dimensional assignments which, accompanied by targeted professional development training activities, foster an understanding of law practice from the perspectives of both lawyers and clients alike. At Stevens & Lee, we want our Summer Associates to return to the firm as professionals ready to develop long-lasting relationships with us and our clients.

Law students who are sharp, hard-working and eager to learn may apply to our Summer Associate Program by participating in their law school career office’s summer recruiting programs or by submitting materials directly to Stevens & Lee.

Rising 2L students interested in applying for a 2026 Summer Associate position should submit a cover letter, resume, transcripts and writing sample either through their law school career services office or directly to Windley Hofler WaldenJulie Ravis or Charlie Suhr.

Applications will be considered complete only upon receipt of a complete 1L transcript that includes grades from the 2025 Spring semester.

Applicant materials must be submitted on or before June 16, 2025. If you have any questions, please contact us.
