ACCGP IHC Conference: Real Estate’s Greatest Misses – And How to Avoid Them

Chris CostaSteve Buck and Julie Burkart, Shareholders at Stevens & Lee, joined by Aaron Gevers, Senior Counsel at Bristol Myers Squibb spoke on the topic “Real Estate’s Greatest Misses – And How to Avoid Them” at the ACC Greater Philadelphia’s 16th Annual In-House Counsel Conference held Thursday, April 18 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.

Corporate Counsel have a lot on their plates. Real estate isn’t always at the top of the list. However, poor management of the company’s real estate can lead to missed opportunities and problems that can last for years. The panelists represented a wide range of companies from Fortune 100 companies that own multiple corporate campuses to nonprofits to companies that lease a single space. In an interactive session full of memorable stories, the panelists helped attendees make the best real estate decisions.

This full day conference gave attendees the opportunity to earn up to 6 CLE credits on one day, including ethics CLE credits, on cutting edge legal topics impacting in-house counsel. This year’s conference also included a relaxation room with chair massages and a calm environment to take a break, tech demos from legal software companies, complimentary headshots with a professional photographer and career coaching opportunities.
