He assists clients within a range of technology and engineering sectors and draws on his previous experience as an engineer.
Elliott has more than 40 years of experience providing nuanced legal services to enterprises that develop, market and utilize intellectual property. He has assisted a wide range of businesses with a variety of transactions involving the development, marketing, acquisition, sale and licensing of copyrights, domains, patents, trademarks, trade secrets and other intellectual property assets.
Michael brings a depth of strategy and understanding to intellectual property litigation matters that reach district and appellate courts. His practice spans patent, copyright, trade secret and telecommunication issues, and he routinely provides counsel on the use of Inter Partes Reviews (IPR). He has particular experience with IP litigation issues in the areas of solid-state lighting, software, solid-state memory, camera sensors and semiconductor processing.
