Jennifer practices in the area of employment counseling, court litigation, arbitration and mediation, with a particular expertise with respect to non-competition agreements and trade secrets protection focused on the financial services industry.
Jennifer concentrates her practice on employment issues and provides a full range of services to clients, from the drafting of corporate policies and employment agreements through counseling on employee issues, transitions and termination procedures. Her practice includes employment discrimination prevention and defense, enforcement and negotiation of independent contractor agreements, employment, non-competition, separation/severance and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, wrongful discharge issues and issues generally related to the employment relationship.
She has also collaborated with clients in developing policies and procedures that both minimized legal risks and met business objectives, including creation of employee handbooks and advising as to best practices, as well as preparing training materials and conducting manager and employee training. Jennifer has used these skills in conducting seminars for local and regional business leaders and human resources professionals and staff. She has also written and edited published employment law reference materials focused on the needs of Pennsylvania-based employment lawyers, including emerging legal issues and practice guides.
Jennifer has represented clients in state and federal court cases, as well as in the FINRA, JAMS and AAA arbitration forums. She has also been active in bar association and human relations association committees and currently serves as the Diversity and Outreach Chairperson of the Chester County Human Resources Association.
