Mark is a government affairs specialist in the firm’s Harrisburg office. He has experience in both the executive and legislative branches of Pennsylvania government.

Mark served in the Governor’s Office as Director of Legislative Affairs for both the Department of Human Services and the Department of Aging where he was responsible for health care, insurance and senior issues. He also worked as Legislative Assistant to the Senate Majority Whip, Senator Jane Clare Orie, and to Senator Patricia H. Vance, Chair of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. He provided counsel on budget, fiscal and revenue issues and economic development programs. In addition, Mark served as a lobbyist with a diverse client portfolio, working on issues like health care, insurance, gaming, technology, tobacco, transportation and education.

In the private sector, Mark oversaw the daily operations of four companies employing a total of 1,200 people within 14 states and also served as Executive Director of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry of Central Pennsylvania. While in that role, Mark also served on the National Association of the Remodeling Industry’s Government Affairs Committee and authored the organization’s government relations handbook focused on effective lobbying.
