His experience includes leading the creation of significant patent portfolios in the areas of virtual reality hardware and software, natural user interfaces, semiconductors, television and consumer devices. Micah has also drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications and has managed strategies for a range of cases prepared by outside counsel.

Micah’s deep familiarity with the technology sector stems from his former experience as in-house counsel for Microsoft Corp, where he handled some of the most novel and complex issues surrounding product development, licensing and release. His work was at the forefront of augmented reality technologies arising from joint ventures with Samsung, LG and the Department of Defense, and he played key roles in Microsoft’s largest patent sale in history.

Micah has received numerous awards for Pro Bono legal services in the areas of immigration, housing and criminal law.
